Valentines day...Finally.

I'm sorry, no pictures here...And yes...it was two weeks later.

So Johan picked me up from school today. It was a good day for once at school. I had clients that weren't mean to me and it seemed like a pretty chill day.

We went home and when I first walked in I could see our fake flowers in this cute arrangement on our table. A notebook opened with red writing on it. The best was that the whole ROOM was spotless. Kitchen and living room!! It was amazing and I almost started crying right there. It was the best gift that I could ever recieve. (I had asked for just a love letter or maybe breakfast in bed...the last was harder cause I wake up at 8. I wouldn't expect anyone to wake up before that!)I loved it because it was giving of his time! So I give Johan his love letter that I wrote and drew and I read his that was on the table. I felt tears welling up for the love I felt from Johan. Johan had bought me some way cute earrings and I did a scavenger hunt for them in this box that was covered in red tissue. I thought they were super cute and he did a pretty good job picking them out. (I refused to help..I know, i'm such a mean wife.)

We then spent the rest of the night laughing and appreciating all the little things we do for each other day by day. We took a nice nap on the couch and I made a simple dinner to show my own appreciation for Johan. All in All............I couldn't imagine it going as perfect as it did.

BrainFart Moment.

Today was a day I was...least to say a little drugged up. (I have a terrible cold and decided to take a drowsy medication.) I went to Sonic with my friend Erica and as we were pulling out. I swear I put the car in reverse, but It was in drive. The car lurched forward, while I was looking behind because that is where I thought the car was heading.

We almost drove into the sonic building. We stopped even before we hit the curb. (Luckily!!) We laughed for a good 2 minutes about it and we were both really confused how it had happened...I'm blameing the drugs. Just thought to share in my brainfart moment. It makes blogs a little more fun to read! ;)

Valentine Disaster--the V.D!!

My Valentines week started amazing!! Johan brought home some yummy doughnuts! One was a cute heart shape with sprinkles. (I have a weakness for surgar.)

My story starts:

Friday 4 a.m.......

I wake up to this horrible noise. My stomach drops as I realize my husband of 8 months is throwing up. I heard stories of couples going years before they had to deal with sick husbands. Maybe I was hoping my ears were decieving me. I did the nice thing...look away and pat his back. Johan was so very sick, so I wanted to baby him, so I buy him some Gatorade at 5 in the morning before I head to school around 8:30ish for a test.

Later that Friday.....

I go back home from school after taking my test, to clean up the bathroom. I just couldn't deal with it that morning! I even called my mom to give me a nice pep talk to get me to work cleaning the bathroom. I felt really bad for Johan. He looked really uncomfortable just sitting there on the couch. (I left him with watching 7 years in Tibet. Thought that would get him to fall asleep...Just to let you know it didn't.) I bought him some Gingerale and Ginger root at the store. I had heard that ginger calms the stomach and that I could cut the ginger root and put it in the drink to make it easier to go down or eat. It surprisingly burns your tongue. (I had some...)

Saturday Morning @ 3 a.m.........

I wake up with my own stomach feeling gross. I start to pace and tell Johan that I don't feel good. He was nice enough to want to go to the store to buy sprite. I told him I wanted to go just to get fresh air to maybe get the nausea feeling away. I got ready, with boots sweater and coat. I was all ready to leave and the weird thing was that I walked to the bathroom and quickly stripped off my coat. (I was suprised how quickly I stripped off my coat.) Johan was kind and rubbed my back and comforted me. We both got sick in time for Valentines day.

It was super romantic (<~~~sarcastic)....two sick people trying to baby each other. We both decided to celebrate Valentines this coming Saturday. Hopefully we both don't get sick again.

dinner night!!

This happened between Wednesday or Thursday, I have been bored with the same pasta meals. It included Spagetti, Ramen, or Pasta Roni (with random sandwhichs). So the other day I decided to do Taco night. Johan and I had a blast cooking together and cleaning together. We had this huge meal and it tasted sooo Great!! (Like Tony the Tiger would say.) We went all out with Mexican stuff. Johan bought us some traditional Mexican drinks.

I love doing things together with my man and changing up our reciepes. If you know any give me a call or post them on the comment page! I'm looking for good ideas to cook that would be pretty cheap. Thanks!

Good CLEAN fun!

Tonight Johan and I decided to clean the house. What forced our hand was that we are hosting a small gathering of friends for games and some snacks. It was fun to be able to tease together and Jam out in our house. Johan was such a champ and took over the kitchen. I was really amazed how AWESOME it looks. (Not like I doubted Johan.) I feel really blessed for a husband that even after a bad day can come home and help me with house chores and get ready for guests. He was so awesome for cleaning even the stove!! I am still amazed it was finished in an hour or two. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE My husband! I really do appreciate him and all he does.

Random thought: I always love the smell of bleach..It smells so clean. Hope I'm not weird in thinking like that. I will have pictures soon of our amazing first apartment.

Film Festival 2009!!!

On Monday and Wednesday, I went with some girls from school to the Park City Film Festival. It was my first event like that. My friends told me that tons of actors go and that I might see one. I was all, "sure..yeah right!!!" Little did I know, that I was going to see a bunch of famous people. I might not know the names, but I knew that they were famous! It was a bunch of fun, with laughter, eatting, and trying to stay warm!

I didn't get pictures with all, but I got a bunch more with Robert Redford (Horse Whisper), Anthony Edwards (E.R.), Minnie Driver (Return to Me), Broklyn (Real World), and Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: Special Victims). It was a interesting two days!

Naked Story

On Friday, (true events!) (Don't worry, made sure it was okay to retell this story.)

Friday is our juggle-the-car day. Johan needed the car for work, so at lunch I came back home so he could drop me back off at school and have the car for work.

So as I'm parking the car and I see this text message.

Txt Johan: Where are you lover?
Reply Megan: I'm coming up the stairs. XOXO

So I slowly move up the stairs and I'm sticking the key into the lock and the door flies open. All I see is naked body and scream. I realize it was my husband and started laughing. By then, I already entered the apartment in fear that our neighbors would see my laughing naked husband. I have never laughed so hard in my entire life!!

Johan told me, after we calmed down from laughing, that he got my text as he was coming to the door. I think his plan was to either try to make me laugh or possibly try to get me into a early grave. Still trying to figure that one out. But whatever the reason, Johan got me laughing and I was really greatful for it.
