Hanging with the girls

I went with Leah to watch our school's fashion show and thought it was pretty neat. (We still thought our fashion show was better.) We then tried to pass the time before me met everyone by hanging at Walmart and jumping pictures.

It was super fun being able to hang with the girl's from good old Hairschool days. We ate at AppleBee's and then watched Hocus Pocus to celebrate Friday the 13th. Its just fun to get out and hang with the other girls.

Celebrating Johan's BIRTHDAY!!!

The night before I had decorated the house with suprise decorations for him. I ended up buying him the book he always wanted, The Hitchhiker guide to the Galaxy. We went to our favorite place. Carraba's Italian Grill. We both enjoyed delicious steaks. We then tried to figure out how to end the night and went and chilled with Albert and Louis. Watched the Game for a bit, and went and watched the movie Surrogates. It was a blast to hear from everyone and their birthday wishes! Thanks for making it special!

Nightmare on 13th street

I decided that it would be a good idea to go to a haunted house here in Utah for once. I decided to go to a really good one and try to avoid the certain ones that were lame. I had heard about Nightmare on 13th in Salt Lake City. It was on the travel channel as one of the top 5 in the nation. Soooo, why not? I went with one of my girlfriends...which wasn't a good idea. (We both had never gone to it before.)

I had never been soooo scared in my life or screamed sooo much. We got lost at one point in the clown Maze... We seriously went in circles forever. I decided I was going to be the leader of our small group. (We found three other girls to tag along with.) Which was even more of a terrible idea!! I swear I was slammed into walls a billion times because someone had jumped out and chased me. Also, a girl in our group had punched a wall by accident and was bleeding. It was a pretty good haunted house and left us shakey and tired. I wished I had packed a bottle water to cool my sore throat.

Puppy Hungry

In more recent news....I am wanting a puppy. I have looked and looked and researched about different dogs and I came to the conclusion that Welsh Corgi's are the way I want to go with a dog. What I read about them was they were adaptable to each situation and really a family dog. I Just hope we get and train one that would be in that catagory. Johan on the other hand really wants a cocker spaniel...
Still trying to decide...Help!!
P.s. We are still going to have to ask our landlord if it is okay...we shall see.

Camp Out

I had planned to go with Johan and my brother camping.(Since he didn't have school) We had set aside camping for a few weeks and soon the day came. Johan had ended up tired and passing out at home. He had worked the night before till 6 o'clock in the morning and had little to no sleep. I ended up going camping my brother. We went off toward walmart to buy some supplies for our camping trip. We wanted to make Hobo Dinners and smores. It was something I was extremely excited about since we hadn't broken our family tent out. After much deliberation (and a nice bribe from my sister about waffles). Grant and I decided to camp in my sister's back yard.

We had a night of testing ourselves with eyepatches and playing frisbee. I ended up throwing the frisbee better with only one eye. It was really ridiculus night, but tons of fun and laughter. Thanks Liz for dealing with us.

R.I.P.

PANDORA

My mother called me while I work and told me that they had just put down our family dog of 15 years. She was a black lab that had some funny stories behind her.

I remember, my brother would attack me and somehow make the dog join in and pretend like I was hurting him, so pandora would be nipping at my legs while I tried to dodge her and my brother.

Another story, She would run circles around one of our large trees. It almost seemed like the rodents were having just as much fun with her as she was with them. Even near the end of her days she still would play with those evil squirels.
She will be missed.

My wreck...great.

I am sorry to say that it seems in this blog that I'm very unlucky with everything.....BUT I assure you that it isn't always the case.

So a few weeks ago I had the unlucky misfortune of wrecking my cute scooter. I was going about 40 on State when my tire decided to blow out on me. I wasn't freak out at all, because I didn't have time to react. All I thought about before was, 'Great..need to slow down to pull over to check my tire.' I had noo clue I was going to be tipping over into uncoming traffic and getting some really bad road rash and being whisked away in an ambulence.

Luckily, I had decided to wear my helmet to work that day and even home. Johan had text me around 5:30 in the morn about how he almost got hit. (someone had sped through a red light and stopped two feet away from his door.) I was a little scared for him and so I had decided to put on my helmet and not chance brain injuries if a car decided to run me over.

I remember seeing a huge SUV as I fell and just kept wondering if it was going to hurt when I get ran over by a car, but luck was on my side. My scooter ended up getting bumped and the car stopped before it ran me over.

I had a bunch of people around me and feeling an extreme pain on my toe. I just kept saying, "get my husband' and 'Ooowwww, my toe!' I was seriously ready to get some pain killers for my flippin' toe. The ambulence ride wasn't much better. I had a few knuckle heads for my doctors in the ambulence. (I still wasn't given any pain killers.) And one of the guys kept on poking me in my wrong arm with the I.V. I kept telling him my right arm is easier to get a vein. After many attempts on my left and me saying my right arm is better. He had the nerve to actually say, "oh yeah, This arm is soo much better." I rolled my eyes. Now that I think about it, I was probably grumpy about not getting any painkillers.

Finally, I got some pain killers and got to see my husband. I was so thankful for the people that came to the hospital and visited me. (Aunt Terri, Liz and Jon, Evelyn((landlord))) The only injuries I recieve was, :RoadRash-Shoulder, Leg, feet, and breast. Broken Toe. Seperated Shoulder. and glue closed a gash on my broken toe.

I was released after a few hours of in the hospital. I was also suprised that I didn't get any whiplash.

UPDATE:

I am now sooo much better and out of the sling. and wearing normal shoes. I just have some scars and missing a few toenails. All in All, I'm pretty lucky.
