We are finally Moving. A BIG CHEER!!

After a whole year, We are finally packing up from our cinderblock walls and moving into a rather nice place. It has all new appliances, Normal walls, and my favorite......A DISHWASHER. It is seriously a blessing from Heavenly Father, because I really don't know how else we found this apartment. I will probably post pictures of our new place once everything is set up. The only draw back that is has is it is located in Pleasant Grove.

Going Hiking at the Grotto

I went hiking with my Mom & Dad and Hine family (except Jon...he was working.). It was fun and we saw some cool things. We happened to catch sight of a deer at the very end. The water was super cold and I didn't know how the kids played for a pretty long time in it. I was in it for maybe 5 minutes and I was ready to get out.

Us and the kids

On our way to the waterfall

Poor Garrett...He looked really

Funny in his case.

We had to climb over logs.

Luckily, I have balance.

The kids being kids.

Liz being a great mommy!

Garrett has a nice glow to him.

So happy to head back.

The last event on the 4th

We watched the firecrackers and lit some ourselves. I always enjoy watching the fireworks, but by the end of the night Johan and I were pretty much wiped out. I had never felt sooo tired in my life. Poor Johan had to deal with me being cranky.
Liz and I decided to light spaklers to set off the tanks..

We wanted to race them. little did we know...

That they would fire at us. We never figured

out who really won.

I was super excited about the fireworks. Johan

was really tired...I was glad he came along

with me.

3rd Event of 4th of July!!!

We got together and did lunch with everyone. It was a ball and I loved seeing the kids all play together. There were a ton of redheaded children. I guess we better be careful because it might run in the family...HA HA.

2nd Event of Forth of July

The second event of the 4th of July was to go to the parade! It was a ball and I enjoyed watching the kids get sooo excited about all the floats. Johan slept for maybe a few hours and came to watch the parade with me. It was a load of fun, but I think I might go again when we have kids. They really made the parade awesome to watch.

Our First Year of Marriage.

We just celebrated our blissful year mark. We were not really together during the first part of our anniversary.

  • I first left to Oklahoma for my Best Friends wedding. We had this plan for close to 2 years and I definatly couldn't miss it. (She is like a sister to me.)

  • Johan than had to leave to Washington to be with our family and there great news with the babies!! Both my sister-in-laws had babies maybe a month apart..(correct me if i'm wrong.) Johan went to both of the babies blessings.

I first thought he wouldn't be back home until the day after our Anniversary, but I soon found out that he came back that very NiGHT!! I was sooo excited to be with him those few hours we had on our anniversary. When it hit close to midnight, we went to celebrate it at the only place that was open....I-Hop. It was cool and a great blessing to have my sweetie back at home. I had missed him something fierce. We ended up getting free ice cream at Ihop and switching gifts.

Johan (and mom) made me an amazing purse. I love it and couldn't be more happy about it! I have gotten so many compAfter I got my gift I felt like a chump of a wife. I got him a new razor and aftershave. On my defense I kept asking him what he wanted and all he would say was me. So it was hard to find a gift on a budget for the man that didn't cost over 20 bucks.

After I picked up Johan, I figured out a bunch of things that he actually needed more than a razor!! I ended up going to Walmart with him to pick out a desk. It was pretty sweet. (let me tell ya, it was a pain for us to build it...)

I just can't express my love and appreciation that Johan has done this whole year of love, laughs, cries, debates and many more.

How I started the 4th of July

On the fourth of July I had decided to attend the balloon fest with my sister and her kids. I have never gone to them before and it looked like a bunch of fun. It really was a bunch of fun and I am considering making it a July 4th tradition.

Johan couldn't make it because he had worked the night before and had come to bed around 6 in the morning, But we did do breakfast before the balloon festival.

Right after the balloons we went and watch the Family run the 5k. I was really proud of them and wish I could of gone, but I had been pretty bad in trying to train to do this run. I ended up just eatting a lot and gaining weight. New goal......Try to be fit by next year!!
